- Rachel Louise Added December 22, 2020★ ★ ★ ★ ★As a solo traveller, a very welcome place to stay. Made some nice friends and it’s a cool place. Loads of social events too and I booked a few trips with girls on reception which were super! I have been staying at Nomads for 2 nights now and will be here for another 3 as I stay in Byron Bay. This hostel is clean, rooms are spacious and having an en-suite toilet is ideal! My room had a balcony which I found super helpful for drying clothes after being near the beach. Aldi next door and close to the beach and Main Street of shops. Definitely stay here if you come Byron and I will back!

They keep the whole place pretty clean and they have fun events most of the time like games, barbeques, meals, and movie nights. The room we stayed in had 10 beds and everyone we stayed with was really cool. Nomads is a good chain of hostels so you kind of know what you're going to get. It is located right in the middle of town which makes it easy to get to things or walk to the beach. They also have surfboards and boogie boards in the lobby to rent or borrow.
